"Rough Tough Cream Puff" Kimberly Davis is best known from The Apprentice Series 5 where she quickly made a name as "the nicest candidate ever". Beating out over 40,000 applicants, she proved you don't need to behave badly to get ahead in business.
Born in The Bronx, New Yorker Kimberly is an accomplished musician and business owner who knows how to make her dreams come true and get ahead in life.
Kimberly's entrepreneurial spirit blossomed early when, aged five, she started her own lemonade and ice tea stand. By 15, she was interviewing celebrities for her local newspaper. While she triple majored at university, she worked as the marketing manager/ on-air presenter at WVIP with television and radio innovator, Martin Stone.
At 22, Kimberly's writing and communication skills led her to become the youngest instructor to ever teach at Lehman University ("Writing For Mass Media"). She was praised for her unique style of instruction and high level of achievement with the students.
During her 16+ year professional career, she has worked on several high profile projects including The VH-1 Vogue Fashion Awards, Garth Brooks Live in Central Park, and many more. She pioneered The Manhattanville Music Business Conference, was the Marketing Director for several New York City radio stations, and wrote for music magazine, The Inside Connection, for more than 10 years.
On 9/11 she found herself in London, on her first business trip outside America, instead of her office two blocks away from the World Trade Center. Her dramatic experience and the kindness of British strangers sealed her love for the UK.
In 2004, she fulfilled a life long dream and moved to London. Shortly after, she launched a highly successful marketing and development business and now runs Sarsaparilla Ltd., a marketing purification agency that helps companies increase profits and productivity by cleansing their marketing activities and protecting them from The Three F’s: Flash, Fluff and Fakers™.
Kimberly also has an impressive music history. She sang Mozart at Carnegie Hall, danced onstage at Disney World, played flute in Disneyland's Electric Light Parade, and toured the US East Coast playing violin with the Essex County Chamber Orchestra. She has received performance advice from some of the greatest talents including Elaine Paige, Linda Eder, Michael Ball, and more.
She has achieved more in her 34 years than most do in a lifetime and hopes her stories will inspire audiences to go out and live up to their full potential.
So what happened? How did Pants Man evolve? What did Kimberly learn? How can she use her 16+ years of extraordinary experiences and new marketing “purification” agency (Sarsaparilla Ltd.) to inspire your employees and save your company money during these difficult economic times?
Kimberly can reveal the answers to all of these questions and more in her unique and spirited interactive talks that are guaranteed to engage any audience.
