James Max's biography
As well as his obvious business acumen, gained from 15 years experience in investment banking, finance and property, he has demonstrated an aptitude to presenting on both television and radio. James has hosted "Business Matters" on London's LBC 97.3 since 2006 and he also hosts Saturday Breakfast from 7 - 10am as well as regularly covering mid-mornings and on Drive. www lbc.co.uk and www.lbc.co.uk/jamesmax
For two years he wrote and presented the weekday Business Update on TalkSPORT's Drivetime show with Ian Wright and Adrian Durham as well as presenting a wide array of shows on the station.
On radio, James has earnt a reputation for opinionated coverage and discussion of the day's current affairs.
On television, James is carving a niche in his areas of real expertise, property and business. In August 2008, James presented an episode of Dispatches for Channel 4. Entitled "How The Bankers Never Lose" James tried to chase down the chief executives of Britain's biggest banks asking whether their strategies had led to the current credit crunch. Regularly reviewing the newspapers for Sky News, James has earnt a reputation for incisive and opinionated comment on the day's big stories. He also co-presents Profit from Property, Property Pensions and Property Boot Camp for Overseas Property TV. James dispenses practical property and financial advice to contributors with a certain charm and style. And he also appeared as the business expert on E4's "Harvey Goldsmith - The Encore".

James is an accomplished public speaker with recent engagements launching an apprentice scheme for The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and a keynote speech at the BCSC's annual shopping centre management conference, at a property industry luncheon and Lloyds TSB's small business exhibition. He has also hosted a range of awards ceremonies, notably the London Knowledge Transfer Awards, Shell Step final, an entrepreneurial competition for graduates and LBC News 1152's City Life Awards.
James also chairs conferences and seminars and is a conference facilitator and after dinner speaker as well as a host of events and award ceremonies, both at home and abroad.
